Choral Union go to the BIG APPLE!

The Lanark Carluke Choral Union have been invited to sing at the Carnegie Hall in New York in January

We performed Karl Jenkins’ “the Peace Makers” at our Spring concerts and have been invited to sing this work under Karl’s baton in New York

Our performances in the Spring of 2014 were the first in Scotland of this wonderful work

We need to raise funds to get there and this is a fantastic opportunity for a great Scottish Choral ensemble to go and fly the flag for Scottish Choral singing

Our fundraising is at the early stages, but we have set up a dedicated PayPal account for the New York fundraising

the PayPal account can be found using lccu.newyork@gmail.com by looking up this link https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/send-money-online

it’s really easy to donate this way as I’ve just done it!

It’s my hope that all my friends could perhaps help the LCCU, which is a long established Lanarkshire choir under the superb musical direction of Phillip Fox who is it’s founder and champion!

Here are some internet news items about our plans!
